in Arizona The skate trek from ocean to ocean started in Santa Monica, CA, and ended three months later in Virginia Beach, VA, some 3,000 miles later. I was 23 at the time and could skate for 12 hours a day without a thought. The actual number of days skating was 61, but from start to finish it took three months to finish.

When I finished the trip, I thought it would be pretty cool to do something like it again, but with more desert and open territory unlike the eastern portion of the skate. That's when I thought it would be possible to inline skate around Australia and started planning and dreaming about it and then, ten years later, I finally had the chance to give it a try.
